I'm happy to hear somebody else prefer Bloodlines over Castlevania IV. When AVGN published his 4-part review of the series, he gave a cop-out review of Bloodlines and simply wrote it off as an inferior game to Super-IV. Even worse, it's pretty much part of the same "SNES is always better than Genesis" groupthink - it's like the 16-bit console war never ended.
ReplyDeleteCall me sacrilegious, but I like using Eric LeCarde with his spear better than Morris and Belmont with whips. It's also one reason why I love Symphony: I like swords better than whips.
Dustin: good luck on your first child. But seriously: Castlevania?! You're going to destroy this kid and make him or her never want to play video games. But I guess it's better than Ninja Gaiden 2.
